One more week to the new year, 2022. A new beginning, new hope, new desires, new goals, to have a happy, peaceful, and successful year, is what we wish as the new year begins.
I used to make resolutions at the beginning of the year. I promise myself to do something. Committing and keeping up with that was a challenge.
We get caught up with New Year being a new start and make resolutions. Every day is a new start. We need to keep looking to better ourselves every chance we have. So that everything and everyone around us reflects the same.
Good resolutions are like babies crying in church. They should be carried out immediately.
– Charles M. Sheldon
Waiting for a whole year to take action is inefficient, so I changed my approach, making an instant resolution. It helps to achieve our goals more quickly and timely.
Taking a resolution is the first step; it could be on the new year or instantly at any time. Making sure to attain that goal is what matters.
Resolutions: So many will fail; NOT because they didn’t set goals, but because they didn’t set behaviors.
– Steve Maraboli
Below are keywords that let us keep up with the resolution and take it to completion,
Planning: It is critical to plan our time. The plan should be to achieve the goal as efficiently as possible without compromising work-life balance.
Commitment: Be dedicated to the plan and make sure to follow it without fail.
Motivation: Losing interest is common. We need to motivate ourselves, quotes, music, or whatever gets us back to that track.
Routine: Life is uncertain. We always come across situations that are not as planned. Make sure to follow the routine, even if it is partial.
Let’s take resolutions as we see fit and make sure to better ourselves and world around us.
